与大峡谷州立大学使命宣言的理念保持一致, 学生就业应被视为学生教育的延伸.  学生员工学习计划(SELP)是一个帮助学生发现和联系他们的课外活动的工具, 工作, 以及帮助他们为大学毕业后的生活做好准备的学术经历. Additional objectives include helping supervisors see the important connection between liberal education and the student’s employment experience; to help students prepare for pursuing 工作 post-graduation; and to increase the interaction and communication between students and supervisors.
